What’s the difference between SRT and VTT?
Both are subtitle files. SRT is the most widely supported (YouTube, Premiere, most players). VTT (WebVTT) is the web-native format used by HTML5 video. SubsVideo exports both, so you’re covered everywhere.
How does the timing work?
Captions are paced to reading speed — measured in characters per second — and split into short, two-line cues. You can dial the speed up or down to match your audience and your cut.
